SUBJECT: UPDATED SUPPLEMENTAL FILES (#2) FOR SWR COLLECTION RATES Following the publication of the April 15, 2025, City Council agenda, City staff has prepared updated supplemental files for Solid Waste and Recycling (SWR) Collection Rates, identified as Administrative Item 6B.
The updated supplemental file is for the first attachment to the staff report for the “Solid Waste & Recycling Collection Service Rate Study for 2025-2029.” The SWR rate study is a very large and technical report (now 291 pages) and City staff and City consultants updated input data from consultants and crosschecks various study calculations, tables, charts and cross references.
This study along with the Powerpoint presentation to Council, staff report, rate notice (if approved) and FAQs (still to be developed) will be accessible to the public online (as well as Spanish version of the proposed rate notice) when notices are mailed out.
