RESOLUTION R2025-____
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING FINANCE DIRECTOR DONNA LEE AS CITY TREASURER WHEREAS, City Charter Section 75 authorizes the City Council to appoint the City Treasurer as an “appointive officer,” and WHEREAS, on May 6, 2025, the City Council adopted Resolution R2025-043 appointing Assistant City Manager Liz Habkirk as the City Treasurer, until such time as a permanent Finance Director is appointed; and WHEREAS, City Manager Steve Potter has appointed Donna Lee as the new Finance Director effective August 11, 2025; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Napa, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby appoints Finance Director Donna Lee to serve as City Treasurer, with a term beginning on August 11, 2025.
This Resolution shall take effect on August 11, 2025.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Napa at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 5th day of August, 2025, by the following vote:
