RESOLUTION R2026-XXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NAPA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE AMENDED 2026 CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR BY CORRECTING THE REGULAR SEPTEMBER 2026 MEETING DATES TO SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 AND SEPTEMBER 15, 2026.
WHEREAS, the time and place of regular meetings of the City of Napa City Council are governed by City Charter Section 60, Napa Municipal Code Section 2.04.050, and City Council Policy Resolution No. 19; and WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the City Council are set for the first and third Tuesdays of every month, unless modified by a City Council resolution; and WHEREAS, on November 4, 2025, the City Council adopted Resolution R2025-114, which established the City Council meeting calendar for the year 2026 including the cancellation of the meetings of July 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026; and WHEREAS, staff has identified the need to correct the 2026 September meeting date schedule and has prepared this resolution to establish the recommended 2026 City Council Calendar, set forth on Exhibit “A,” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, which is implemented through this resolution, including the correction of the September 2026 meeting dates to September 1, 2026 and September 15, 2026; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Napa has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meeting of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by city staff, and any information provided during the public meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Napa, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby corrects the September 2026 City Council meeting dates to September 1, 2026 and September 15, 2026.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Napa at their public meeting held on the 6th day of January, 2026, by the following vote:
