I would just like to let you all know that things are getting completely out of hand in our immediate area. Another very large and very loud white tent party complete with porta-potties setup on the sidewalk, took place here on Saturday evening. One call to NPD dispatch resulted in an officer arriving at the party site in ~50 minutes. Things quieted for about 10 mins., but resumed right after the officer drove away. I called once again, but as far as I could tell, no officer responded again. The party seemed to end at !0:00. One really has to wonder just how many inebriated partiers drove away from that big event on Hickory between Pine and Elm. Our very understaffed NPD would have had a field day if they could have been here to monitor all the partiers departures, but I do understand that they have their hands full dealing with much more serious Napa criminal issues. All it takes is a daily look at the county jail booking report to know who our criminals are and what they are doing to put all of our community at great risk of injury or death. You would never tolerate what we must deal with here in our ever deteriorating neighborhood if it were happening anywhere near your homes.

Why is it acceptable where we live? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
