Congregate Meals
• Serve nutritional well-balanced hot meals
five days a week
• Over 2,000 meals served every month
• This program also gives seniors
opportunities to socialize with others
Home Delivered Meals Program
• Staff deliver meals to homebound seniors
who reside in National City
• Over 1,600 home delivered meals every
month
• The Home Delivered Meals program serves
as a means to do wellness checks to
homebound seniors.
Funding from City of National City &
County of San Diego Collaboration
• Partnership with the County to provide lowcost lunch time meals to senior citizens • Lunches for seniors 60 and older are
provided at a suggested contribution of
$3.50
• Lunches for people under the age of 60
years old are at a fixed price of $6.00
• All meals are nutritionally balanced
