The City Council Voted Unanimously the need for an Emergency Closed Session Meeting to discuss the unexpected death of City Manager Armando Vergara.
All City Councilmembers were present: Bush, Rodriguez, Yamane, Molina, Morrison and City Attorney Schultz CLOSED SESSION:
The City of National City is a City Council/City Manager form of government therefore, in the absence of a City Manager the Assistant City Manager acts on their behalf. The City Council in Closed Session appointed Assistant City Manager Scott Huth as Acting City Manager with a unanimous vote.
