CALL TO ORDER
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of National City was called to order at 5:05 pm. via teleconference and in the Council Chamber, located in City Hall, 1243 National City Boulevard, National City, California.
Mayor Morrison announced that Vice-Mayor Molina would be attending remotely as Government Section 54953 allows when teleconference location is noticed on the agenda.
Mayor Morrison confirmed that Vice-Mayor Molina had posted the agenda and provided access to the meeting at her location as required by the Brown Act and Government Code Section 54953. Vice-Mayor Molina confirmed and was allowed to continue virtually. This action does not require a vote of the City Council.

CLOSED SESSION
Members retired into Closed Session at 5:12 pm. (Bush, Rodriguez, Yamane, Molina (via Zoom), Morrison, Martinez, Romero, Hernandez, Soriano, Tellez, and Outside Counsel Rene Farjeat, Silver and Wright (via Zoom)). All members returned to the open session at 6:06 pm. With all members present in attendance: Bush, Rodriguez, Yamane, Molina (via Zoom), Morrison, Martinez, Romero.

Mayor Morrison announced that actions taken in Closed Session would be reported at the Regular City Council Meeting following this meeting at 6:00 pm.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Morrison adjourned to the Regular Meeting of the City Council ofthe City of National City. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 6:00 pm. in the Council Chamber, located in City Hall, 1243 National City Boulevard, National City, California.
