Proposed Ordinance
Reason for Ordinance
• Development projects occurring on multiple properties owned and developed as one becoming more frequent.
• Lot Tie Agreements allow two properties to be developed as one without need for a lot merger
• Allows for flexibility with building separation, setbacks, and joint access. • Lot Tie Agreement would allow for this situation without being considered a relaxation of required codes.
• When properties sold, City would first require demolition or relocation in order to remedy any code issues (agreement would then be dissolved and the agreement terminated).

Reason for Ordinance
• In order to utilize this tool, it is required that the Municipal Code make reference to the use of said agreements through Ordinance. • This Code Amendment would create such an Ordinance and allow for Lot Tie Agreements in the future.
