SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL

1. CALL TO ORDER
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of National City was called to order at 5: 03 p. m. via teleconference and in the Council Chamber, located in City Hall, 1243 National City Boulevard, National City, California.
2. ROLL CALL
Councilmembers present: Molina, Rodriguez ( arrived at 5: 05), Yamane, Bush, Morrison
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
Councilmember Yamane led the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT ( Public Comment will be restricted to Agenda Items Only) The Mayor allowed two minutes for each public comment.
In- Person Comment: Doyle Morrison, Alisha Morrison
5. CLOSED SESSION
Members retired into Closed Session at 5: 05 p.m. and returned at 5: 54 p. m. with all members present in attendance: Bush, Rodriguez, Yamane, Morrison, Molina, Schulze, and Skinner. Councilmember Rodriguez did not return to the Chamber following Closed Session.
5. 1 SIGNIFICANT EXPOSURE TO LITIGATION
Pursuant to Paragraph ( 2) Subdivision ( d) Government Code Section 54956. 9 Number of Cases: 1
Announcement of actions taken in Closed Session shall be made at the Regular City Council Meeting following this meeting at 6: 00 p. m.
6. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Morrison adjourned to the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of National City, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, 6: 00 p. m. in the Council Chamber, located in City Hall, 1243 National City Boulevard, National City, California.
The meeting adjourned at 5: 55 p. m.
