Consideration of Adoption of Resolution 2023-48: A Resolution of the City of Nevada City, California, Submitting a Special Transactions and Use Tax Measure to the Voters at the March 5, 2024 General Municipal Election and Taking Certain Related Actions; Consideration of Ordinance 2023-10: An Ordinance of the City of Nevada City, California Imposing a Special Transactions and Use Tax to Be Administered by the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration to Fund the City's Wildfire Prevention and Mitigation Program; and Consideration of Adoption of the Nevada City Wildfire Prevention and Mitigation Plan as Developed by the Nevada City Fire Safety Advisory Committee Recommended Action: By separate motion, second and roll call vote: 1) Adopt Resolution 2023- 48; 2) Hold first reading, waive reading of Ordinance 2023-10 in its entirety, read by title only, and schedule for second reading and adoption November 8, 2023; and 3) Adopt the Nevada City Wildfire Prevention and Mitigation Plan.
