8. Conduct a Public Hearing in Consideration of Ordinance 2024-04: An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Nevada City, State of California Amending Chapter 8.04 of the City of Nevada City Municipal Code, Relating to Nuisances
Recommended Action: Hold first reading, waive reading of Ordinance in its entirety, read by title only, and schedule for second reading and adoption August 28, 2024 Action: None. Bring back August 28, 2024 Councill Meeting with Revisions

9. Consideration of the Special Event Request for the 2024 Roamin Angels Event at the Bodhi Hive Collective (Nevada City Tech Center) September 6-8, 2024 Recommended Action: Review, approve, and authorize the special event per the submitted application

10. Consideration of a Presentation on Wildfire Risk Abatement Activities in Relation to Homeless Encampments
Recommended Action: Receive a presentation and provide any needed direction
11. Consideration of 1) Award of Contract with B-Line Sports, LLC in an Amount Not-To-Exceed $653,712.00 for Seven Hills Field Replacement; Authorize a Project Contingency of 3%, Not-To- Exceed $19,611 and Authorize the City Manager to Execute any Contracts or Related Documents; 2) Approval of A Joint Use Agreement Between the Nevada City School District (NCSD) and the City of Nevada City Relation to Shared Use of Seven Hills Middle School Recreation Fields, and Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Agreement with any Non-Substantive Changes as may be Approved by the City Attorney; and 3) Directing the City Manager to Seek Grant Funds and Participate with the NCSD in Fundraising Efforts to Complete the Remaining Phases of the Project Recommended Action: Award the contract, authorize the contingency, authorize the City Manager to execute related documents, approve the Joint Use Agreement, and provide direction to the City Manager
