Good Evening City Councilmembers,
I'm president of the board directors of the Bonita Canyon Maintenance Association. We have been alerted to the item on the agenda for your March 14 meeting regarding the residential refuse collection in our neighborhood.
Having reviewed the materials provided by Charles Springer, we've discussed issue and our board is unanimously in support of the City Council approving the inclusion of Bonita Canyon in the refuse collection by CR&R going forward.
As we've just learned about this issue on Friday, we have not had the time to do a formal survey of our 287 Bonita Canyon residents, but if that step is necessary, we can certainly perform that exercise.
Thanks for the work you do supporting our Newport Beach community.
