RELATED TO COST RECOVERY PERCENTAGES
The Ordinance would amend Newport Beach Municipal Code Section 3.36.030 (Cost Recovery Percentages) to update the percentage of cost recovery from a default of 100% to a percent defined for each service, to ensure compliance with the law, consistency with current practices, and the maintenance of a high level of customer service.
This Ordinance was introduced by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof on the 13th day of June, 2023, by the following vote:
AYES: Mayor Noah Blom, Mayor Pro Tern Will O'Neill, Council Member Brad Avery, Council Member Robyn Grant, Council Member Lauren Kleiman, Council Member Joe Stapleton, Council Member Erik Weigand
