Hello,
I am writing to express my complete opposition to the proposed development of 700 units as part of the MacArthur Court Project. These developments are supposedly affordable and should include a minimum of 15% low-income housing not 7% or 30% moderate income housing.
This council owes the city more. If we are going to bow down to the pressures of Sacramento, then any housing development must meet or exceed the low to moderate income housing requirement.
7% is a slap in the face to the Newport Beach residents.
