Dear Mr. Springer,
As provided for in Attachment J of the Agreement between the City of Newport Beach and CR&R Incorporated, the compensation categories as defined in Attachment D-1 and D -2 shall be adjusted annually to reflect the change in the Consumers Price Index (CPI) , Producer Price Index (PPI), and change in landfill tipping fees . The index used is the annual average percentage change in the December index of the year prior to the current year for All Urban Consumers all items less food and energy index – all cities.
The disposal component of the rates has been adjusted to reflect the new WISE Agreement rates effective July 1, 2026. We have attached the methodology as is detailed in Attachment J of the Agreement.
