2. DISCUSSION ITEM
AB1234 Ethics Education:
Required two (2) hours training in general ethics principles and ethics laws every two (2) years for Local Agency Officials (Gov. Code Section 54952)
Erica Vega, Attorney, Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP, presented the Ethics Training (AB 1234) as required bi-annually for all Local Agency Officials. The training entailed, among other topics, review of some basic California Ethic Laws, new conference rules and limitations, and the new policy regarding non-English speakers at public meetings.
Ms. Vega answered questions from the attendees.
