SUBJECT: JANUARY 2024 MEETING SCHEDULE
Background:
In anticipation of vacation scheduling during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, I am proposing to cancel the January 2, 2024 City Council meeting. There are currently no time sensitive items requiring immediate attention. The next regular meeting is scheduled for January 16, but if anything surfaces prior to that date that needs to be addressed, a special meeting may be scheduled.
If, however, City Council prefers to hold two meetings in January, I propose they be held on January 16 and 30, 2024.

Information will be shared on the City’s social media sites, the marquee, the website, and the City’s designated posting site, if the meeting is canceled.

4 Recommended Action:
Staff recommends City Council either:
a. authorize canceling the January 2, 2024 meeting and hold one regularly scheduled meeting on January 16, 2024; or
b. direct staff to take the appropriate steps to hold two meetings on January 16 and 30, 2024.
