RESOLUTION NO. 23-71
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/24
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE AVAILABLE MEASURE “M”
BOND PROCEEDS TO PROJECT NO. 7242 – EXCELSIOR DRIVE AND
BLOOMFIELD AVENUE SPEED FEEDBACK SIGN IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023/24 Budget includes Project No. 7242 – Excelsior Drive and Bloomfield Avenue Speed Feedback Sign Improvements to be funded with available Measure M Bond proceeds; and
WHEREAS, the project includes furnishing and installing four (4) Speed Feedback Signs at the intersection of Excelsior Drive and Bloomfield Avenue; and WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend the FY 2023/24 budget to allocate $19,500 of available Measure M funds to Project No. 7242.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following accounts:

Expenditures:229-70-7242-2080 $19,500
Fund Balance:229-0480 $19,500
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed deputy, is directed to attest thereto.
