RESOLUTION NO. 24-07
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/24
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO PROJECT NO. 7936 – CURB RAMP
REPLACEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council revised the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) budget to reflect the substantial amendment to the FY 2023/24 Annual Action Plan adopted on October 3, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City Council appropriated additional $615,267 to fund the Capital Improvement Program from available prior year funds and FY 2023/24 Residential Rehabilitation activity by way of Resolution No. 23-60; and WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend the FY 2023/24 budget to allocate $600,000 of available CDBG funds to Project No. 7936, Curb Ramp Replacements.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following accounts:

Expenditures:207-30-7936-2080 $615,267
Fund Balance:207-70-7920-2080 $615,267
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed deputy, is directed to attest thereto.
