RESOLUTION NO. 24-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/24
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE
RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to allocate $600,000 for a new citywide Residential Rehabilitation Program (Program); and
WHEREAS, there is no current funding or appropriation or for this Program; and WHEREAS, the City Council approves transfer of $600,000 from available General Fund reserves to Community Improvement Grants Fund; and WHEREAS, the City Council appropriates from Community Improvement Grants Fund $600,000 for the Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the Program as follows:

Transfer Out: 101-90-9266-3990 $600,000
Transfer In: 266-90-9101-4790 $600,000
Expenditures: 266-62-6202-2119 $600,000
Fund Balance 266-0480 $600,000
SECTION 2. The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
