RESOLUTION NO. 24-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/24
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE MEASURE M AND MEASURE
R FUNDS TO PROJECT NO. 7196 – Firestone Blvd Widening from Imperial to Studebaker
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023/24 Budget includes Project No. 7196 to be funded with available Measure M and Measure R Bond proceeds; and WHEREAS, the project includes grind and overlay, specific location full-depth removal/replacement or application of a slurry seal coating; and WHEREAS, the project includes upgrading of accessibility ramps and cross gutters with slots to current standards at intersection corners; and WHEREAS, the project requires additional Measure M funds; and WHEREAS, the project requires Measure R funds; and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend the FY 2023/24 budget to allocate $17,701,741 of available Measure M and Measure R funds to Project No. 7196; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following accounts:

Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed deputy, is directed to attest thereto.
