SUBJECT: ACCEPT WORK FOR RE-ROOF PROJECT - PROJECT NO. 7863, SPROUL MUSEUM AND PROJECT NO. 7377, HOLIFIELD PARK MAIN SNACK BAR Background:
On January 16, 2024, City Council awarded a contract to Associated Construction Services Group for $116,770 to provide labor and materials to replace roofs at the Sproul Museum and the Holifield Park Main Snack Bar.
The work was satisfactorily completed on April 12, 2024 for $133,475. There were two change orders in the amount of $16,705 that were approved from the contingency amount of $18,862 to address unforeseen issues that needed to be repaired during the project.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this project is available in the approved FY 2023/24 Capital Project Park Renovation Fund budget. Below is the final accounting for the subject project:

(3) Subtotal $ 135,632
(4) Additional Work Needed $ 16,705

Strategic Plan 2023 Implementation:
The recommended action will further the City’s Strategic Plan Goal 2 - Work in partnership with our community to achieve safe and livable neighborhoods - Objective 1 - Re-invest in existing and aging infrastructure.
Recommended Action:
Staff recommends the City Council accept the work of Associated Construction Services Group in the amount of $133,475 for Project No. 7863, Sproul Museum and Project No. 7377, Holifield Park Main Snack Bar roof replacements.
