RESOLUTION NO. 24-32
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/24
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE STREET RENOVATION
FUNDS TO PROJECT NO. 7935 FOR DESIGN WORK FOR ZONES 21
AND 26 – ALLEYWAY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023/24 Budget did not include certain scope of work in new Project No. 7935; and
WHEREAS, the project includes grind and overlay, specific location full-depth removal/replacement, cape seal rehabilitation or application of a slurry seal coating; and WHEREAS, the project includes upgrading of accessibility ramps and cross gutters with slots to current standards at intersection corners; and WHEREAS, the project requires appropriation of additional funds for alleyway improvements in Zones 21 and 26; and
WHEREAS, the project requires appropriation of additional funds for additional design services; and
WHEREAS, the project requires additional Street Renovation funds; and WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend the FY 2023/24 budget to allocate $96,400 of available Street Renovation funds to Project No. 7935; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following accounts:

Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed deputy, is directed to attest thereto.
