SUBJECT: INCREASING FUNDS FOR THE SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM Background:
The City has an existing agreement with Trio Community Meals, LLC, to provide nutritious meals for congregate services and the home delivered meal programs. Due to an increase in attendance, and the need for meals delivered, the initial agreement amount of $490,000 has been exhausted. Staff is requesting an increase of the agreement, in the amount of $105,000 for catering services provided by Trio Community Meals for the months of May and June.

No fiscal impact as funds are allocated in the Fiscal Year, 2023/24 budget Citizens Advised:

The recommended action will further the City’s Strategic Plan Goal 1. Provide High Quality Customer Service to the Community. Objective 1. Promote customer-focused culture that prizes accessible, consistent, and predictable delivery of service.

7 Recommended Action:
Staff recommends City Council authorize the City Manager to increase the funding for Trio Community Meals, LLC, Catering Services in the amount of $105,000 for Fiscal Year 2023/24.
