SUBJECT: AGREEMENT AMENDMENT NO. 1 - TEMPORARY SERVICES TO ASSIST THE
CHILD CARE DIVISION
Background:
On November 1, 2023, a one-year agreement was executed with Robert Half to provide accounting services for the Social Services Child Care division. The agreement was executed under the sole source exemption, Subsection B, and a temporary accounting clerk has been assisting the department in processing state and county payments. Since the approval of the agreement, some City positions have become vacant, increasing the need for temporary accounting services. As a result, the department is proposing to amend its agreement amount by $77,000 to cover the additional cost of accounting services.
Fiscal Impact:
Restricted grant funds will cover the cost of the accounting services, no fiscal impact to general funds.

9 Recommended Action:
Staff recommends City Council approve Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $77,000 to the Robert Half Customer Agreement through November 1, 2024; and authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment on behalf of the city, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
