RESOLUTION NO. 24-39
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK
TO ESTABLISH AN OVERALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS
ENTERPRISE THREE-YEAR GOAL FOR ALL FEDERAL TRANSIT
ADMINISTRATION FUNDED PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2025
THROUGH 2027
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Federal Code of Regulation 49 CFR Part 26, as amended, and regulations promulgated thereunder, in order to be eligible for Federal funds, the City of Norwalk is required to have a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) approved Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) three-year goal for Federal Fiscal Years 2025 through 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.A disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) overall goal of three percent (3%) of FTA funded contracting opportunities using race neutral (0.91%) and race conscious (2.09%) measures, is hereby approved and adopted for Federal Fiscal Years 2025 through 2027.
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
