RESOLUTION NO. 24-55
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/25
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE MEASURE R BOND FUNDS
AND TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT ARTICLE 3 FUNDS
FOR AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT CURB RAMP
INSTALLATIONS TO PROJECT NO. 3302-2425 - CITYWIDE
SIDEWALK/CONCRETE REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25 Budget includes Project No. 3302-2425 - Citywide Sidewalk/Concrete Repair and Replacement to be funded with available Measure R Bond proceeds; and
WHEREAS, the project includes removing and replacing sidewalk, limited repairs to curb and gutter, including asphalt paving; removing and replacing drive apron concrete; and removing and replacing concrete hardscape at parks and City facilities; and WHEREAS, the project includes installing Americans with Disabilities Act corner access curb ramps; and
WHEREAS, the project requires additional Measure R Bond proceeds; and WHEREAS, the project requires additional Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 funding; and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend the FY 2024/25 budget to allocate $211,040 of available Measure R Bond proceeds to Project No. 3302-2425; and WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend the FY 2024/25 budget to allocate $56,000 of available TDA Article 3 funding to Project No. 3302-2425.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following accounts:

Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed deputy, is directed to attest thereto.
