RESOLUTION NO. 24-59
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/25
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE STREET RENOVATION
FUNDS TO PROJECT NO. 7241 – STUDEBAKER AND HALCOURT
TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25 Budget allocated $600,000 in available Street Renovation funds for Project No. 7241; and
WHEREAS, the project includes replacing existing traffic signal poles and controller equipment; and
WHEREAS, the project requires additional Street Renovation Funds; and WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend the FY 2024/25 budget to allocate $72,000 of available Street Renovation Funds to Project No. 7241.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following accounts:

Expenditures:748-70-7241-2080 $72,000
Fund Balance:748-0480 $72,000
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed deputy, is directed to attest thereto.
