AMENDING THE SALARY SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 202 4-25
FOR THE GENERAL, HOURLY, AND EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT AND
MID-MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES
W
HEREAS, Norwalk Municipal Code (NMC) §2.24.070 allows for the adoption and revision of a compensation plan (salary schedule) by resolution; and W
HEREAS, there is a desire to amend the salary schedule to reflect the following changes: add Housing Liaison to the classification plan; and W
HEREAS, the salary schedule has been amended to reflect the changes and supersedes all previously adopted salary schedules.

W, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK
HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

ection 1. The City of Norwalk salary schedule is amended to add a Housing Liaison; and

ection 2. Pursuant to NMC §2.24.070, the City Council hereby adopts the Fiscal Year 2024/25 Salary Schedule attached as Exhibit A.
S
ection 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to fill positions as deemed appropriate.
S
ection 4. The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix h is signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
