RESOLUTION NO. 25-11
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/25
ADOPTED BUDGET TO ADD THE EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL
JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT AWARD AND COMMUNITY ORIENTED
POLICING SERVICES GRANT FUNDING
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25 Budget does not include the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Award; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2024/25 Budget to allocate the awarded $27,887 for operating costs for an additional purchase of Mobile Data Computer; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2024/25 Budget to allocate additional Community Oriented Policing Services grant funding in the amount $5,520 for Mobile Data Computer operating costs through June 30, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriations and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

222-20-2105-3880 $ 5,520
Revenues: 224-20-0000-4469 $27,887
Fund Balance: 222-0480 $ 5,520
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix his signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
