SUBJECT: ORDINANCE NO. 25-1756 – APPROVING STATUTORY DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT NO. 2025-0001 FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NORWALK TRANSIT VILLAGE SPECIFIC PLAN AREA LOCATED AT 13200 BLOOMFIELD AVENUE
Background:
The City Council, at its April 15, 2025 meeting, introduced Ordinance No. 25-1756 which adopts approving development agreement No. 2025-0001, between the City of Norwalk and Lewis Land Developers LLC.; and find that Development Agreement No. 2025-0001 is within the envelope of the Final Environmental Impact Report prepared for the Norwalk Transit Village Specific Plan Project and no further environmental review is required. This ordinance is now being presented for adoption. If adopted this evening, the ordinance will become effective on June 5, 2025.

Recommended Action:
Staff recommends City Council adopt Ordinance No. 25-1756, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK, CALIFORNIA APPROVING DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT NO. 2025-0001 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF NORWALK, CALIFORNIA AND LEWIS LAND DEVELOPERS, LLC. FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NORWALK TRANSIT VILLAGE SPECIFIC PLAN AREA LOCATED AT 13200 BLOOMFIELD AVENUE.
