RESOLUTION NO. 25-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL
YEAR 2024/25 ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS
FOR PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined there is a need to purchase mobile radios in order to ensure continued access to radio communications with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and other regional response partners; and WHEREAS, The cost of the equipment is $83,301.67 and there is no current appropriation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appropriate the $91,500 needed to fund the radios from available Citizen Option for Public Safety Program funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix his signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
