RESOLUTION NO. 25-41
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE AVAILABLE ENTERPRISE
AND GENERAL FUNDS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR ON-
CALL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING STAFF AUGMENTATION
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City currently has several utility system capital improvement projects engaged, management and operations and maintenance of City assets, and new City development reviews; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to utilize the services of a consultant to provide On- Call Professional Engineering Staff Augmentation Services (Staff Augmentation Services); and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 Budget is insufficient to cover costs for Staff Augmentation Services; and
WHEREAS, the cost for Staff Augmentation Services is estimated to be $80,000; and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend the FY 2025/26 Budget to allocate $80,000 of available Water Enterprise Fund, Sewer Enterprise Fund, and General Fund funding for Staff Augmentation Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:
