RESOLUTION NO. 25-56
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE FUNDING FOR HERMOSILLO
PARK – PROJECT NOS 7359 AND 7607
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 Budget includes Project No.7359 – Hermosillo Park Rehabilitation project and Project No. 7607 - Hermosillo Park Storm Water Capture/Filtration for a total amount of $41,028,437; and WHEREAS, the total cost of the project is estimated at $51,432,600; and WHEREAS, there is additional funding of $5,000,000 available to the City from Municipal Measure W for Project No. 7607; and
WHEREAS, there is additional funding of $3,746,264 available to the City from Measure A allocations for Project No. 7359; and
WHEREAS, City desires to defund Skate Park Project and allocate $859,000 to Project No. 7359; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to allocate funding of $1,657,900 from the Park Renovation Fund; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix his signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
