RESOLUTION NO. 25-61
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL
SYNCHRONIZATION PROGRAM PROJECT NO. 7246
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works is the lead agency of the regional Traffic Signal Synchronization Program; and WHEREAS, the City’s cost of Norwalk segment of the project is $1,687,100; and WHEREAS, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (METRO) and Los Angeles County will contribute $1,006,800 and $389,600, respectively; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2025/26 budget to allocate $281,700 from proposition C fund to cover its portion of the Project 7246 cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

Revenue: 227-70-7246-2080 $281,700
Fund Balance: 227-0480 $281,700
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix his signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
