SUBJECT: JANUARY 2026 MEETING SCHEDULE
Background:
As the City has done during the last several years, I am proposing to cancel the January 6, 2026 City Council meeting due to the holiday schedule. The Executive Team has reviewed upcoming agenda items and determined that there are currently no time-sensitive items requiring immediate attention. The next regular meeting is scheduled for January 20. However, if anything surfaces prior to that date that requires attention sooner, a special meeting may be scheduled.

Information will be shared on the City’s social media sites, the marquee, the website, and the City’s designated posting site, if the meeting is canceled.

Recommended Action:
Staff recommend City Council choose one of the two following options:
a. hold one regularly scheduled meeting on January 20, 2026; or b. continue to hold two meetings, January 13 and 20, 2026.
