RESOLUTION NO. 26-02
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK DESIGNATING MAYOR JENNIFER PEREZ AS THE CITY’S
REPRESENTATIVE AND VICE MAYOR MARGARITA L. RIOS AND
COUNCILMEMBERS TONY AYALA, RICK RAMIREZ, AND ANA
VALENCIA AS ALTERNATES FOR THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY CITY
SELECTION COMMITTEE/EASTERN REGION
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County City Selection Committee/Eastern Region is charged with the responsibility of voting on certain County-related matters and Boardmembers.
NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK
HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Mayor Jennifer Perez is the authorized representative of the City of Norwalk to said City Selection Committee with full authorization to vote at said meetings on behalf of the City; and
Section 2.Should Mayor Perez be unable to attend said meeting, then Vice Mayor Margarita L. Rios, Councilmembers Tony Ayala, Rick Ramirez, and Ana Valencia are designated as the official representatives of the City in his place and stead.
Section 3. The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
