RESOLUTION NO. 26-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26
ADOPTED BUDGET TO TRANSFER COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO PROJECT NO. 7876 – BUILDING
DEMOLITION LOCATED AT 13400 SAN ANTONIO DRIVE
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 Budget did not include new Project No. 7876; and
WHEREAS, Project No. 7876 includes demolition of the existing structure, hazardous-materials abatement, utility disconnections, removal of foundations and slabs, and proper disposal of all associated debris; and
WHEREAS, establishment of Project No. 7876 requires a project budget to properly track expenditures; and
WHEREAS, funding for the project will be provided through a transfer of existing and previously approved Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and will have no fiscal impact on the City’s General Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2025/26 budget to transfer $480,000 of Community Development Block Grant funds to Project No. 7876.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following transfer and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

To: 207-70-7876-2080 $480,000
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
