RESOLUTION NO. 26-07
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE ROAD MAINTENANCE AND
REHABILITATION ACCOUNT (RMRA) FUNDS TO PROJECT NO. 7920 – LOCAL STREETS REHABILITATION ZONE 28 (NORTH)
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 Budget did include Project No. 7920; and
WHEREAS, the project includes management and inspections of construction work involving slurry sealing, crack sealing, signage, striping, traffic loops, and traffic control; and
WHEREAS, the project requires appropriation of additional funds to provide additional services; and
WHEREAS, the project requires RMRA funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 25/26 budget to allocate $50,278 of Street Renovation funds to Project No. 7920.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

Expenditures: 404-70-7920-2080CI $50,278
Fund Balance: 404-0480 $50,278
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
