RESOLUTION NO. 26-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE MEASURE R FUNDS TO THE
AGREEMENT WITH TRANSTECH ENGINEERS, INC. FOR CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 Budget did include appropriation for engineering services for Holifield Parking lot, two street and traffic improvement projects (Project); and
WHEREAS, the services requires appropriation of additional funds to provide additional services; and
WHEREAS, the Project requires additional funding from available Measure R and 2005 RDA Bond Proceeds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2025/26 budget to allocate $216,450 of Measure R and $72,150 from 2005 RDA Bond Proceeds to complete the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
