SUBJECT: NORWALK HOUSING AUTHORITY APPOINTMENT
Background:
Members of the Norwalk Housing Authority (Authority) are appointed by the Mayor, subject to the confirmation of a majority of City Council, pursuant to Health and Safety Code §34270. Five members serve four-year staggered terms, and two tenant commissioners serve two-year terms. The Health and Safety Code does not require the five members to be Councilmembers to serve on the Authority.
Following are the current members of the Authority and their terms of office:
