RESOLUTION NO. 26-21
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF AN ATHLETIC NETTING SYSTEM FOR
ZIMMERMAN PARK LOCATED AT 13031 SHOEMAKER AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2025/26 (FY) Budget does not include funding for the Zimmerman Park Athletic Netting System Installation project; and WHEREAS, on April 7, 2026, City Council approved an agreement with Judge Netting in the amount of $84,800 to proceed with the installation project; and WHEREAS, City Council desires to appropriate $84,800 from the Park Renovation Fund to complete the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:
Account Number Increase Decrease
Expenditure: 743-50-5813-3880 $84,800
Fund Balance: 743-0480 $84,800
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
