RESOLUTION NO. 26-41
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK
APPROVING AGREEMENTS WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY
AGING & DISABILITIES DEPARTMENT FOR THE ELDERLY
NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026/27
WHEREAS, the City has an established Elderly Nutrition Program through its Social Services Department; and
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department requires the approval of the City Council to enter into this transaction with the for the purpose of providing nutritious lunches, and nutrition counseling, to the senior community, it is necessary that this resolution be adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Council authorizes entering into an agreement with the Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department, and Trio Community Meals, LLC, for the purposes stated above and authorizes the City Manager to execute the agreements on behalf of the City.
Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
