RESOLUTION NO. 26-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2026/27
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE STREET RENOVATION AND
PROPOSITION C FUNDS FOR PROJECT NO. 7184 – CARMENITA
ROAD REHABILITATION FROM 550 FEET NORTH OF EXCELSIOR
DRIVE TO ROSECRANS AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that additional funding is necessary for Project No. 7184 – Carmenita Road Rehabilitation from 550 feet North of Excelsior Drive to Rosecrans Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the fee for the construction services is estimated at $3,816,992; and WHEREAS, the total project available funding is $3,026,322, leaving a shortage; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appropriate an additional $790,670 from available Street Renovation and Proposition C funds for Project No. 7184.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
