RESOLUTION NO. 26-55
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2026/27
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR PROJECT NO.
7944 – LOCAL STREETS REHABILITATION PROGRAM ZONES 5, 6, AND 30
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined there is a need to award the contracts to proceed with construction services for Project No. 7944; and WHEREAS, the fee for the construction services is estimated at $7,319,425; and WHEREAS, the available project funding is $91,897, leaving a shortage; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appropriate an additional $7,227,600 from available Measure M, Prop 1B, Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account, and Street Renovation funds for Project No. 7944.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

Section 2.The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
