RESOLUTION NO. 26-60
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2026/27
ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR PROJECT NO.
7873 – CITY HALL RECEPTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, City Council has determined there is a need to award the contracts to proceed with construction services for Project No. 7873; and WHEREAS, the total cost of the Project is estimated at $2,049,926; and WHEREAS, the available project funding is $1,042,788 leaving a shortage; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appropriate an additional $1,008,000 from available Building Renovation funds for Project No. 7873.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

Section 2. The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
