A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2026/27
ADOPTED BUDGET TO TRANSFER TRANSPORTATION RESERVE
FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO
SUPPORT TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC SERVICES FACILITY AND
TENANT IMPROVEMENTS AT 12650 IMPERIAL HIGHWAY- PROJECT
NO. 7865
WHEREAS, City Council and the City’s Department of Transportation are committed to providing efficient transportation services and maintaining facilities that support operational growth and expansion;
WHEREAS, the approved interior and exterior modifications at the Transportation/Public Services Facility are estimated to be completed in December 2026; WHEREAS, the improvements at the Transportation/Public Services Facility included reconfigured workspaces, relocated offices, expanded locker rooms and an updated customer service area; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to PSOMAS’s agreement, in the amount of $325,022, is required for construction management and inspection services necessary to complete the Transportation/Public Services Facility and Tenant Improvements, which will be funded through use of Transit retaining earnings;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK HEREBY DETERMINES, FINDS, AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to make the following appropriation and prepare the necessary budget amendment for the following account:

Section 2. The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix her signature to this Resolution signifying its adoption by the City Council of the City of Norwalk and the City Clerk, or her duly appointed assistant, is directed to attest thereto.
