A. CONVENE, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND ROLL CALL
The City Council meeting was called to order at 6:01 p.m., with Mayor Lucan leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Eric Lucan, Mayor Pro Tempore Susan Wernick, Councilmember Denise Athas, Councilmember Pat Eklund, Councilmember Mark Milberg, and Councilmember-elect Rachel Farac
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Adam McGill, City Attorney Gary Bell and City Clerk Laura McDowall

There was no closed session.
C. CEREMONIAL MATTERS/PRESENTATIONS
D. APPROVAL OF THE FINAL AGENDA
COUNCIL ACTION: Upon motion by Councilmember Eklund and seconded by Councilmember Athas, the City Council voted 5-0 via roll call to approve the Final Agenda.

E. REPORTS FROM THE CITY COUNCIL & CITY MANAGER
The City Council gave thanks to outgoing members Eric Lucan and Denise Athas. Mayor Lucan and Councilmember Athas said a few words of farewell.

COUNCIL ACTION: Upon motion by Councilmember Athas and seconded by Councilmember Eklund, the City Council voted 5-0 via roll call to approve the Consent Calendar.

G.1. Adopt a resolution accepting the results of the canvass of election returns of the General Municipal Election held on November 8, 2022 and declaring the results thereof
The City Council adopted Resolution No.2022-100.
Former Councilmember Denise Athas left the dais.

J.1. Swear in re-elected Councilmember Pat Eklund and newly elected Councilmember Rachel Farac pursuant to the General Municipal Election held on November 8, 2022
City Clerk Laura McDowall administered the Oath of Office to re-elected Councilmember Pat Eklund and newly elected Councilmember Rachel Farac.

J.2. Reorganize the City Council to select a new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore Susan Wernick was nominated as Mayor and Mark Milberg was nominated as Mayor Pro Tempore

COUNCIL ACTION: Upon motion by Mayor Lucan and seconded by Councilmember Eklund, the City Council voted 5-0 via roll call to appoint Susan Wernick as Mayor and Mark Milberg as Mayor Pro Tem.
