A. CALL TO ORDER
The City Council closed session began at 5:34 p.m.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Rachel Farac, Mayor Pro Kevin Jacobs, Councilmember Pat Eklund, Councilmember Sandeep Karkal, and Councilmember Tim O’Connor
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Amy Cunningham and City Attorney Gary Bell B. PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
C. CLOSED SESSION ITEMS
C.1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9:
One potential case.
Prior to the start of the closed session, City Attorney Bell announced that a point had been reached where, in the opinion of the legislative body of the local agency on the advice of its legal counsel, based on existing facts and circumstances, there was a significant exposure to litigation against the local agency.
Facts and circumstances that might result in litigation against the local agency but which the local agency believes are not yet known to a potential plaintiff or plaintiffs, which facts and circumstances need not be disclosed.
There was nothing to report out.
D. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council adjourned the meeting at 5:55 p.m.
