PleasejoinusincelebratingOaksterdamUniversity’s 15thanniversaryastheleadingvoiceincannabiseducationanddeclaringNovember10th Oaksterdam University Day in the City of Oakland.
OUhasbeensettingthebarforacademicrigorandappliedlearningincannabisandhempsinceitsinception.Withover80,000alumnifromover100countries,Oaksterdamisthemostrecognizednamefortrustededucation,providinga cross-disciplinarycurriculumcoveringthemostrecentdevelopmentsincannabiscultivation,business,andpolicy. Theirfacultyfeaturesaward-winningcultivators,businessowners,academics,andpassionateadvocateswhoshapedtheearlymedicalcannabis movement and continue to set the standard for the modern commercial cannabis industry.
Inadditiontoprovidingindustryprofessionalsthetoolstheyneedtoleadinthecannabissector,Oaksterdamofferstechnicalassistanceandexpertisetogovernmentofficials,regulators,andlawenforcement.SomeofthegroupsthathaveworkedwithOaksterdamleadersandeducatorsincludetheNationalHighwayTrafficSafetyAdministration,CongressionalCannabisCaucus,CaliforniaTax andFeeAdministration,HarvardUniversityJohnF. KennedySchoolof Government,UniversityofCaliforniasystem,GoldenGateUniversity, andtheSocialEquityProgramsfortheCity and County of San Francisco, Palm Springs, Los Angeles, and the great City of Oakland.
GiventhesignificantlocalandglobalimpactOaksterdamhashadonthecannabismovementandindustry, weextendourheartfeltcongratulationstoOUforcelebratingits15thanniversary. Wealso look forward to continuing to honor OU’s journey on November 10th for years to come.
